OK HORSE AUCTION: Acting as agents only
Be sure to read over the terms and conditions before continuing . . . Examine horses carefully prior to bidding.
2. All horses are to be tagged as soon as they are unloaded from the tr
ailer. NO HORSES ARE TO BE ON THE PREMISES THAT ARE NOT TAGGED FOR SALE THROUGH THE OK HORSE AUCTION.
3. There is a $75consignment fee. THIS IS A NON-REFUNDABLE FEE THAT WILL BE PAID ON EVERY HORSE (DONKEY, MULE, ETC.) AT OK HORSE AUCTION Horses selling order is determined by booking order.....
4. There will be a $100 early withdrawal fee And a VET OUT
5. There will be a 8% commission charged on all horses sold. There will be a 10% commission on saddles/tack sold off horses in the ring.
6. Hip numbers shall be left on all horses until they leave the premises.
7. You (or your handler) must prepare and accompany your horse to the ring when it is your turn, where it shall be represented HONESTLY and you will either "accept" or "decline" the final bid.
8. All horses are required to be in the barn 45 minutes prior to sale time (this means 12:15 pm), as gates will be closed and locked. If you fail to have your horse ready when your turn comes we may move on to the next horse to ensure no delay in Auction...You will be put back in the line-up by the direction of barn manager. If the barn has to provide a handler/rider, a fee will be charged.
9. There is no "PO" fee. For cataloged horses.
10. Physical or "mood altering" drugs are strictly prohibited.
11. Depending on location.. ** Poteau facility does NOT have holding pens. It is a "tie-up" facility. Your horse is your responsibility. Sellers must provide a shipping halter to remain on horse after sale.
12. All accounts must be paid in full by the end of the horse sale.
13. All payments must be made in U.S. currency or from U.S. Method of payment shall be cash, check (with same day bank letter of credit), and/or credit card (Visa, Mastercard). Must have proper identification if paying by check or credit card. Credit/Debit cards will be charged a 5.50 % surcharge. Bank drafts are not accepted. There are NO EXCEPTIONS!
15. ALL ANNOUNCEMENTS DAY OF SALE SUPERCEDE ALL PREVIOUS ADVERTISEMENTS.
16. There is no implied warranty made by the auctioneer, announcer, or auction company as the merchantability or fitness for particular purpose of any animal offered for sale in this auction.
17. A paid receipt is required for any horse to leave the sale grounds.
18. All sales made on sale day must be made through the sales office. NO ALLEY TRADING!! If someone wants to purchase your horse outside of the ring, bring their name, buyer's number, and bid to Rob or Renata prior to the sale. They will be the opening bid for your horse. If no other bid is made, you may "accept" or "decline" their bid while your horse is in the sale ring. This will allow everyone who is in attendance the opportunity to bid on your horse and bring you the most money for your horse.
19. Buyers, Sellers, and Spectators attend the sale at their own risk. OK Horse Auction and its affiliates will not be held liable (responsible) for any accidents, injuries, or deaths to persons or property.
20. All buyers must register in the sales office and receive a buyers number.
21. There will be a $500 charge on all returned checks, regardless of reason.
22. Immediately after the horse is sold, it is the responsibility of the buyer.
23. All horses must be removed by the close of the sale, unless prior arrangements have been made with Rob or Renata. Failure to remove the horse, for any reason, will obligate the buyer to pay all costs associated with board, transportation, and security of the horse.
24. OK Horse Auction may distribute or publish the results of this sale in publications or post the results on its website.
25. Every effort has been made to assure the correctness of the WEB SITE, however, errors may occur. OK Horse Auction and the Auctioneer are not responsible for errors or ommissions, and assumes no liability on its part or on the part of the seller as to any statement, either verbal or written, regarding horses sold. Please notify us of any errors. BUYERS ARE CAUTIONED TO PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE AUCTIONEER'S ANNOUNCEMENTS.
26. All horses in this sale will have a negative test for Equine Infectious Anemia (Coggins test) within twelve months of sale date.
27. ALL GUARANTEES ARE BETWEEN BUYERS AND SELLERS.
28. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE.
29. Checks will be mailed out the TUESDAY FOLLOWING THE SALE DATE..
