Finally got new septic approval, we’re all in at this point, made a down payment I can’t hardly stomach, second guessing every decision to move forward. Yet, some of the best advice I’ve ever gotten in life is to just “take the next good step” and so we are. Way over budget, way over time frame, moving forward and enjoying the journey. Building a dream is not for the faint of heart….

Everybody else is doing the hard work today! New door went in and the gas meter was moved! I’ve been reflecting on the journey the last year has given us since we put the offer in and never thought we’d be here. The near daily rollercoaster of emotions is exhausting but we’re managing to just “take the next good step” toward building a vision/idea. No matter how much thought I’ve given this I never knew what we were facing but we’re working through it and moving forward!

Digging holes, still no good news. Not giving up. On a positive note the heaters were delivered this week!
