✨Announcing the 2026 Van McLeod Award winner - Amy Greene!✨

Amy Greene is a Stunt Coordinator, Stunt Performer, and feature film Producer whose recent projects include A24's THE DRAMA, upcoming A24 summer release Anthony Bourdain biopic TONY, Academy Award winning film THE HOLDOVERS, Academy Award winning SOUND OF METAL, and Academy Award nominated KNIVES OUT. Other films she's been a part of have won awards at Sundance, Cannes, and The Independent Spirit Awards, and of course NHFF.

As a stunt coordinator she collaborates with directors to create believable and authentic action, including working with Oscar winning director Alexander Payne, and on films from A24, Apple, Netflix, Searchlight, NBC, Miramax, and more.

As a stunt performer, Amy recently doubled the female lead in upcoming Keanu Reeves action film SHIVER. She's had the pleasure of doubling Meryl Streep, Laura Linney, Chloë Grace Moretz, Amy Ryan, Amy Adams, Taissa Farmiga and others.

Amy will receive the Van McLeod Award during the 2026 NHFF Awards Ceremony on Sunday, October 18.✨ 🏆

An annual presentation of films from the previous New Hampshire Film Festival that include Shorts Jury Award winners, Festival Award winners and highly rated titles by festgoers, and is hosted by The Music Hall & NHFF Director of Cinema Programming with insight into the films. The lineup includes live action, documentary, and animation titles that were produced across the U.S. and across the world.

Best of the Fest is presented in two parts, each with six titles, running approximately 115 minutes. Pt.2 is coming soon.

New Hampshire Film Festival is an Academy Award qualifying festival in all three shorts categories: Live Action Shorts, Documentary Shorts, and Animated Shorts. Films that receive the Jury Award in those three categories may qualify to enter the Short Films competition for the concurrent Oscar season.

2026 Oscar Nominations have been announced!🎬 Six films from this past year's New Hampshire Film Festival, BLUE MOON, THE SECRET AGENT, ARCO, IT WAS JUST AN ACCIDENT, CUTTING THROUGH ROCKS and SIRAT, received nominations in various categories.

◾ BLUE MOON: Best Actor (Ethan Hawke), Best Original Screenplay

◾THE SECRET AGENT: Best Picture, Best Actor (Wagner Moura), Best International Feature (Brazil), Best Casting (Neon)

◾ARCO: Best Animated Feature

◾IT WAS JUST AN ACCIDENT: Best Original Screenplay, Best International Feature (France)

At the Golden Globes last night, THE SECRET AGENT, a New Hampshire Film Festival Official Selection (2025), won awards in two categories:

⭐ Best Motion Picture - Non-English Language
⭐ Best Male Actor in a Motion Picture - Drama (Wagner Moura)

THE SECRET AGENT: Marcelo, a middle-aged widower, returns home to reconnect with his young son and father-in-law and investigate unresolved questions about his deceased mother’s past. But something feels off. This is Brazil in the 1970s, and the military dictatorship has been marked by reprisals, paranoia and corruption.

Congratulations to Kleber Mendonça Filho, cast, crew and all involved in the success of THE SECRET AGENT! Help us celebrate them in the comments.👏
