Tomorrow May 31st, is our LAST EVER RUMBLE EVENT at this house! We would love you to join us! Charlie is bringing back lavender lemon cupcakes (🤯 if you know, you know), and we have lots of treats (including vegan/gluten free). It’s 11-2pm, pay-what-you-want/can pop-up coffee shop and bakery! And please…for the love of Rumble, fill out our survey if you haven’t already! 8 more days till it closes for the prize raffle!

Next Week!

Sliding scale: $15-$30 NOTAFLOF

Looking to connect in a way that’s sustainable for this challenging moment? This workshop will share foundational practices for embodied well-being and attuned communication, allowing participants to connect in pairs and small groups in ways that are authentic while honoring the time and practice it takes to build trust. 

We’ll practice connecting without agenda, allowing natural resonance to arise from organic harmonization between people. You can expect to take away practices and principles to aid in your ability to cultivate a healthy relational ecosystem around you, and you may make friends, collaborators, or various other types of connections.

Join us for Balderdash Game Night — an evening of bluffing, baffling definitions, and unexpected truths. Whether you’re a master of made-up meanings or just in it for a laugh, bring your quick wit and best poker face.

We’ll provide seltzers and snacks; you bring the boldest lies and the keenest guesses. The grand prize of shameless bragging rights for the most convincing fib and the sharpest sleuth.

This iteration of a residential-based Rumble Collective is coming to a close... with great appreciation for the community that has developed around this effort, great hope for the future of what it can become, and inevitable grief for the end of an era – we ask you to come join us in our last month of full calendar, and complete a survey that includes opportunities to reflect on the project thus far, as well as ways you would want to be involved in future iterations.

At this time we are considering several options, but we want your voice to help us define the future!

Thank you so much to everyone who has believed in cultivating community outside of capitalistic structures! We hope that whatever Rumble Collective becomes next, that it will continue to hold this spirit! We don’t intend for this to be the end, but it will be a transition we hope you will join us for!

Every month Rumble transforms into your favorite neighborhood coffee shop for a few hours. Come by for the pastries, cowork, or chat with neighbors and new friends!

Charlie whips up a huge array of sweets and treats (including gluten free options), and also has tea and coffee offerings, all by donation.

Hey y’all! Spring is here, and with it, Rumble’s Clothing Exchange is back! Bring a bag, take a bag! Please bring clean, gently used clothes and accessories. We have a got to get you started that we’ve been picking up from the community, so come on down early and find the perfect fit!

Tuesday evening!

Prepare your performances - new and old - and your puppets - be they made of trash or treasure - we open this space to see and be seen, and support each other as a community of artists. We'll be starting with an entry-level workshop held by a puppeteer in the community, centered on the building blocks of puppetry - bringing emotion, motivation, and life to everyday trash.

Then we'll have open-mic style sharing, and end the day with some time to chat and share with each other. Works in progress are welcome and encouraged.

Our schedule of activities is not strict, we follow the energy of the group.

• First (~30min) - Puppetry Workshop
• Second (~60min) - Puppet, Mask, & Clown Open Mic
• Third (~30min) - Open Share

This event is all ages, but is NOT a children's puppet show! There may be adult material. This is a radical puppet event for artsy freaks. For questions, contact: [email protected].
