BASKETBALL HEAD COACHING OPPORTUNITY FOR SOMEONE! Check it out!
The Franklin High School Girls Basketball program is looking to fill the following positions:
Varsity Assistant Coach
Junior Varsity 2 Head Coaches
Duties include:
* Practice Planning
* Film Breakdown
* Attendance Checks
* In game coaching
* Directly responsible to the head coach.
* Responsible for the conduct, both on and off the playing surface, of all persons under his/her jurisdiction.
* Cooperate with the faculty and families to cultivate their friendship and loyalty.
* Work within the rules and regulations as set forth by the state, Oregon School Activities Association, the district and the school.
* Confer with athletic director to be certain that all competing athletes maintain their eligibility.
* Be familiar with the Athletic Manual and regard to rules and regulations set forth by the state and district.
* Maintain a daily log of your practices, teaching skill progressions, to whom and reviews. Document all safety procedures (water breaks)
Preferred Qualifications
* 3-5 years High School coaching experience
* Ties to Franklin Community

Hey so I just received this casting call from adidas to the Portland Women’s 3x3 basketball tourney. They are looking for basketball players, athletes and models of all ages. It looks cool and definitely pays. It’s being shot in April. Not sure if it’ll happen but you never know! Good luck if this is your jam 🙂

Calling all Portland Women's 3x3 Ballers!

As you know the Portland Women's 3x3 Basketball Tournament isn't happening this year but there's a unique opportunity to keep the spirit alive by having a “Portland Women's 3x3 Basketball Demographics Bracket” at this year’s RIPCITY 3x3 (July 27th/28th).

The coordinators at the RIPCITY 3x3 Tournament have extended a special offer to any previous Portland Women's 3x3 team that is interested in playing. Suzie Glenn is rounding up the troops and creatively wanting to keep the players of the Portland Women's 3x3 still in action!

RIPCITY HRC 3x3 Special Offer:

- Bracket specifically for any ladies (regardless of age but most likely average team age of 30ish and up)
