Genevieve DeGuzman (she/her) is a poet and writer with work in The Adroit, Ni**od, phoebe, Poetry Northwest, RHINO, and other publications. A Tin House alum and Alice James Award finalist, she has received the Oregon Literary Fellowship, the StoryBoard Fellowship from StoryStudio, as well as fellowships and support from AWP, Oregon Arts Commission, the Oregon Regional Arts & Culture Council, Poets & Writers, and Vermont Studio Center. Genevieve lives in NE Portland with her thrash metal musician partner and their unimpressed cat. Karaoke at the End of the World (now out from JackLeg Press) is her first full-length collection.

Thanks so much to everyone who came out to our show at Atrium last night, and thanks to .pdx for hosting us for another month! Thank you to all of the poets who competed, calibrated, or door kicked, and congrats to for taking first in the slam. A HUGE thanks to for being such an amazing feature last night!!

We will be back at Atrium in July! We’re off in June for the , then shows will resume as normal!!!

Tonight's the night, folks! Come out to Atrium for a three round poetry slam event, with a feature set from FreeQuency. Doors and sign ups at 7:00pm, show at 7:30pm. 12 spots in the poetry slam, if we have more sign ups than that we'll do a randomized lottery to determine readers.
