On behalf of the Northwest Fire Equipment Dealers Association Board of Directors, we want to thank every one of our vendors and fire departments for their support this past year and over the years with the NW Fire & Rescue Expo. As you may know, the board volunteers their time and like many of our vendors, are employed by various companies that support the fire industry. Our goal was always to try and maintain the show and continue a successful show for the future. We were faced with many difficult decisions this past year related to the show and future shows and after many months and lots of discussion around all possible options, we have made a decision. For the foreseeable future, the Northwest Fire Equipment Dealers Association, along with the NW Fire & Rescue Expo, are closing and the board is working towards that end. Refunds have already been dispersed at 70% to vendors based upon the final show costs for 2020 which were impacted by Covid-19 in March last year two months before the show in May. We would have liked it to have been a different outcome, but things did not work out and we wish you all good health and prosperity in the year ahead and beyond.

We have made the unfortunate decision to cancel the 2020 NW Fire & Rescue Expo. Given the current situation and the recommendations against large gatherings into the foreseeable future, we feel this is the correct decision for our vendors and attendees.

We are committed to returning in 2021 with a vibrant event that will bring us all together again to celebrate our industries. Maybe we'll even able to shake hands again by then, who knows?
