Today is the 12th anniversary of the 2001 attacks. In the memory of those you risked and lost their lives, we would like to take a moment to thank our local heroes. Thank you to our fire, police and emergency servicemen for helping keep us from harm.

Thank you to everyone in the USM community that was able to come together yesterday and show our solidarity and sympathy for all those directly affected by the bombings at the Boston Marathon. Our hearts and minds continue to go out the victims.
