Had a fantastic time last night at the LEVITICUS advanced screening (curtesy of NEON). The director Adrian Chiarella and actor Joe Bird were in attendance for a post film Q&A. And I even got to chat with Adrian afterwards in the lobby of the beautiful Hollywood Theatre PDX.

I loved the film. It was beautifully shot, with strong direction and powerful performances. I’ve read a few reviews that say the film is q***r trauma with no hope. I disagree. I think the ending is hopeful, even if it is uncertain.

Go see this film in the theaters. Let the industry know that we want more Q***r Horror in the cinemas. 😁👍

A sad heart today as I heard the news about my friend JONATHAN TIERSTEN’s passing. Horror fans know him as “Ricky” from the cult classic SLEEPAWAY CAMP. I met Jonathan in 2012 and we became fast friends (at his insistence! LOL! 🤪). We made a short film together in 2015 called THEN AND AGAIN co-written by co-starring and . We hung out when we could. And kept in touch after my move to Portland. We chatted about him coming up to PDX for a screening (and visit). If you didn’t know, Jonathan was also a very talented musician (and you should listen to his music). You will be dearly missed my friend.
