🏳️‍🌈🇺🇸 Happy 4th of July from Portage Pride! 🇺🇸🏳️‍🌈

As we celebrate 250 years of America, we also celebrate the ongoing journey toward a nation where freedom, equality, and justice truly belong to everyone.
Pride reminds us that liberty means being able to live openly, love authentically, and embrace who we are without fear. While we've made incredible progress, we continue to stand together, uplift one another, and work toward a future where every LGBTQ+ person is seen, valued, and celebrated.

Today, we honor those who fought for our nation's independence, those who have fought—and continue to fight—for LGBTQ+ rights, and every person helping build stronger, more inclusive communities.
From everyone at Portage Pride, we wish you a safe, joyful, and meaningful Independence Day. 🌈

Cheers to 250 years of America, to the power of community, and to a future where freedom truly means freedom for all. ❤️🤍💙

Happy 4th of July!

THANK YOU, PORTAGE PRIDE! 🏳️‍🌈❤️

-HUGE thank you to Gunnar Bortz Photography for capturing these beautiful moments at Pride !

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every single person who made Portage Pride such an unforgettable day. Together, we made history and showed what love, acceptance, and community truly look like.

To our incredible entertainers—thank you for sharing your talent, passion, and energy. You brought the stage to life and helped create memories that will last forever.
Also to include we had over 26 performances throughout the entire day!

To all of our vendors, thank you for bringing your businesses, creativity, and support to our celebration. Your presence helped make Pride a vibrant community event.

To our amazing sponsors and donors, thank you for believing in our vision and investing in a more inclusive Portage. Your generosity helped turn this dream into a reality.

A very special thank you to Savannah and Andy, the owners of the bar, for opening your doors, believing in this event, and helping create a safe, welcoming space where everyone could celebrate exactly as they are. Your support meant more than words can express.

To our volunteers, thank you for the countless hours you gave before, during, and after the event. None of this would have been possible without your dedication.

And finally, to every single person who attended—whether you came to celebrate, learn, support a loved one, or simply experience something new—thank you. Your smiles, cheers, hugs, and love filled Portage with hope and reminded us why Pride matters.
This wasn't just another event. It was a statement that Portage is growing, learning, and making room for everyone. We are so proud of what we accomplished together, and this is only the beginning.
Thank you for making history with us. We'll see you at Portage Pride next year! 🏳️‍🌈✨❤️
