Today is the day! It's oyster shuckin' time! Join us on the green space behind City Hall for the 12th Annual Oyster Roast. Opens at 1 with food trucks and kid activities. Oysters being served at 3 with an afternoon full of live music entertainment by the Gary Byrd Trio, Luke Lander, and headliner performer Hannah Dasher starting at 7 p.m. Fireworks at 9! Bring CASH!

We are proud to announce our 12th annual Oyster Roast, BBQ, & Music Festival musical artists! Our headliner Hannah Dasher, country music star and Effingham native will be performing at 7:30PM! With over 1.5 million followers on TikTok, Hannah Dasher is only rising.

In addition, Luke Lander, country music singer will be performing at 5:30PM!

It's Oyster shuckin' time! Join the Port Wentworth Chamber for the annual Oyster Roast, BBQ & Music Festival which falls on the 2nd Saturday in November around Veterans Day. Event is 12:00pm - 7:00pm.

The Port Wentworth Chamber of Commerce is proud to stand behind our nation’s armed services, today and every day. We’d like to thank the brave men and women who’ve served our country and sacrificed so much for our freedom – our gratitude for all you do is endless. In a continuous display of that gratitude, the chamber is proud to participate in events on Veterans Day and throughout the year that are designed to provide small comforts and tokens of appreciation to current and former military members. This year the Chamber is excited to once again offer FREE ADMISSION, FREE LIVE entertainment and FREE KIDS ACTIVITIES! Stop by the Oyster Tent for steamed oysters sold by the bucket. There will be many food/drink vendors offering many food options. Thank you to our event sponsors for making this event possible. We look forward to seeing you, rain or shine, at our favorite event of the year. There's nothing that compares to meeting new friends and catching up with old ones while shucking oysters at our most popular event of the year!
