We were honored on Sunday evening to have the Conrad family join us to dedicate the milking facility at the barn. This family has provided a tremendous amount of support to the Juniata County Ag Society which has allowed our barn facilities to grow and host high quality shows and activities for our youth. We are blessed with support of alumni of Juniata County 4-H and FFA programs.

Juniata County Fair.

Dear Friends,

Welcome to the 164th annual Juniata County Fair. Our Fair as always, is popular due to the many activities, attractions and events that we have for all ages.

This year being the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I, we are planning a special celebration to mark this event. The celebration will be held Thursday night of the Fair. Guest speaker for the evening will be Ret. General Ronald R. Fogelman, USAF. In addition to a variety of special music, we will honor our veterans.

As a tribute to our fallen veterans from Juniata County, banners featuring the veterans will be placed around the fairgrounds for Fair Week.

We welcome a new Fair Queen Coordinator this year. Shannon Ehrisman of Richfield is a former Juniata County Fair Queen. She is excited with her new position.

Please stop by and look at the facilities and all the improvements that have been made over the past year. We are proud of our new office building that has been built. we can now have everything office related in one building. We also have a new pavilion near the center of the fair grounds for fair goers to have a place to sit and relax while they enjoy all that good Fair food!

We have been fortunate to purchase 19 acres of land near the fairgrounds to use for additional parking.

The Fair has something to offer for everyone – whether it be tractor pulls, 4x4 truck pulls or entertainment every day on the Free stage. There is livestock on exhibition at the beginning of the week and kids’ activities during the week. We also have the Demolition Derby, a Circus the entire week and four racing events, highlighted by the 51st running of the Tuscarora 50, paying $51,000 to win.

The Directors and I are very excited to welcome you to our 164th Juniata County Fair, where I know you will have “tons of fun”.
