The holidays are approaching fast, and so is Luminary Lane! There are some changes to our approach this year, so please read carefully.

There will be a MAX of 200 luminaries sold. We have had problems in the past with spacing along the path and luminaries being run over by golf carts, and keeping it streamlined seems like a good option.

The cost of materials went up, so the price is now $10 each, or 3 for $20. All proceeds still go to support the upkeep of our paths.

Luminaries will all come with instructions, as they will be self-decorated this year. If anyone would like to volunteer to be a calligrapher, that would be welcome!

Installation is planned for the morning of Saturday, December 20th. We definitely need volunteers to make this a success, so please contact me with any interest!

Decorating Luminary bags can occupy grandkids for a while, just saying!

It's that time of year again, and Luminary Lane preparations are kicking off!

Luminary bags are $5 each, 5 for $20, or 6 for $20 for kids who want to decorate their own. Cash or Venmo preferred, and all profits go to support the upkeep of our Nature Trails. Each one has a personalized message of your choice (10 words or less, please).

Luminary bags are non-flammable, and use battery operated tea lights on timers, so maintenance is minimal, and they are soft enough to not cause any taxiway disturbance.

Installation is tentatively planned for Wednesday, December 18th. We need volunteers for the about three hours that day for various tasks to make this display a success, as well as individuals willing to check on the display each day of the two weeks that it will be open.

With so much to be thankful for, considering lighting a candle to send a message to the community from you and yours. There are only limited number of luminaries available, so if you would like to include your family in this year’s event, email soon as they will go quickly—and you may need to wait another year for the chance to come again.
