In just five sleeps, families will have the chance to meet the amazing children’s book authors who will be part of the fun at the Charlotte County Book & Arts Festival!

Kids can take part in a scavenger hunt through the mall to discover these authors’ books along with artwork displayed throughout the festival. It is a fun way to explore stories, art, and creativity while searching for clues all around the mall.

Bring the kids, enjoy the adventure, and celebrate reading together. You never know what new favorite book you might find along the way.

Southwest Florida friends, mark your calendars! The Charlotte County Book & Arts Festival is happening one week from today, and it is shaping up to be an incredible day for our community.

The Charlotte County Book & Arts Festival will take place on April 18th from 10am-6pm inside the Port Charlotte Town Center mall.

This free, family-friendly event will feature more than 60 authors, artists, and vendors from across the region. Visitors will be able to meet authors from many different genres, browse unique artisan creations, and enjoy a full day of activities for all ages.

Families can enjoy a bounce house, face painting, a scavenger hunt, and a costume contest from 4–5pm near the old Macy’s stage area (dress up like your favorite book character or artist). We will also be hosting an Elementary School Art Exhibit, where the community can vote for their favorite student artwork from each grade level.

Come spend the day discovering new books, supporting local artists, and celebrating creativity in Charlotte County.

Bring your friends and family and help us make this first festival a huge success. We hope to see you there.
