The Flagstar Strand – a stunning rehabilitation of the original 1921 venue – reopened in January 2017 and is fast becoming the fixture in Downtown Pontiac that it once was. The theater provides a unique and extraordinary entertainment experience from every seat in the house with intimate sight lines, superb acoustics. The theater provides comfort and convenience, with main floor restrooms and beverage service in the main floor bar, Charlene’s. Saginaw Street in Downtown Pontiac is also available for private rentals. The venue also has an open private space on the mezzanine level with an additional bar. There is plenty of convenient, metered street parking, garage and surface lot parking in the area. Valet service is also available. Welcome to Stage 13, it's not really cursed, is it?
On a stormy night in 1997, the cast and crew of a teenage supernatural drama gather at the supposedly cursed and newly reopened Stage 13 to film their pilot episode. Filming comes to a halt after a thunderstorm knocks out the power, leaving the cast and crew downtime to retell the tale of Veronica Wilkes and her murderous rampage at Stage 13 in 1984.

We are honored to be part of Downtown Pontiac. Seeing the citizens of this community come together to denounce racist rhetoric and stand together on the foundation of respect makes us proud to be a Pontiac business. Many thanks to the strong voices in this community who are speaking and working to make this city a better place for everyone, every single day.

Hate has no place in our community.

We became aware that a sticker containing a racist slur had been placed on a sign outside our building. Thanks to proactive community members, it was removed within the hour it was reported on social media.

We strongly condemn this hateful and unacceptable act. We are committed to being a place where every person--guest, neighbor, staff, and artist--feels safe, respected, and welcome.

We, alongside the Pontiac community, are invested in discovering who was responsible. Please know that this act of vandalism does not reflect our beliefs or the values of the community that we are proud to serve.
