The man, the myth, the legend and one of the greatest in our fishing community. Oh the stories and good times we shared with him. His personality shined when he entered the room. A true and honest man and the best of the best when it came to Calcutta.
We sure lost a good one and he will be dearly missed.

Shoal Update: 12/30/2023

Start the new year off right by navigating Ponce Inlet like a pro! Here's the latest Shoal Update!

Over the past few windy months, sand has continued to be distributed further south. Making our unmarked 'short-cut' in the north cut of Ponce Inlet shift once again. Our recommended route has changed from previous updates and larger draft vessels will have difficulty transiting the short-cut area on lower tides if they are not aware of the deepest route. The water depth at low tide can change quickly. There is an unobstructed channel that currently holds 8' of water depth at low tide - Even more shallow than before. Be aware of floating red cans 8A & 8B and shoaling hazards around them. The shoals position relative to your previous GPS tracks around those markers will be different.

Please use caution when navigating the area, especially, if you're on a larger vessel. The shoal is always moving so please mind your speed and boat safe!
