35th Pomona Valley Juneteenth Jazz & Arts Festival The Official California National Juneteenth Freedom Day - A Holiday Observance, SPONSORED BY Dr. Trudy Coleman, CEO/Founder, J.E.T.M.A.C.

and J.A.I., Governor Davis enacted in June 2001, declaring California National Juneteenth Freedom Day Observance. The Pomona Valley Juneteenth Jazz Festival event is every third Saturday in June, as per the California National Juneteenth Freedom Day - Holiday Bill signed by Former Governor Davis, June 2002. Join us for Pomona's annual Juneteenth Flag Raising Ceremony at Pomona City Hall – at the corner of Mission & Garey.

Since the Alliance Cultural Center is set as a Voting Center through Tues, June 2nd, we will head up to – at Garey & 2nd St – following the brief ceremony and group picture to have lunch together.

Get Involved! Get your spot now. Call Trudy at 9094188530. Know your history. National Juneteenth Freedom Day freed the people. The Forth of July freed the land. Shove off day is when the black soldiers road out across the USA to let the slaves know they are free to leave the plantation. Galvaston Texas is the last state to know. We are all seeking benefits of being Americans. The right to vote, the right to medical health and right to seek equal justice.
