A little late posting this, but still wanted to share! On November 20th, Pomaria Lutheran Church hosted a Pomaria Community Thanksgiving gathering. St James AME provided a delicious Thanksgiving meal. The St James Choir also sang some wonderful songs. It was a great night of fellowship among our neighbors and friends!

Pomaria Town Council welcomed 6 Civics/Government students from Chapin HS to its regular monthly meeting tonight. We all enjoyed having these Seniors join us as we conducted the Town’s monthly business.

There is now a stop sign at the end of Holloway St. where it intersects with Rest St. (by the Mudcats training facility/indoor batting cages). It was voted on by the Pomaria Town Council to help ensure the safety of our residents and visitors. Please be aware when driving through and come to a complete stop.

Pick up will be at Bethlehem Lutheran Church on Saturday, May 6th from 8am - 12pm. Looking for an interesting upcoming outing? Check out this collection of wedding dresses on exhibit thru August 13th to see how the wedding dress has evolved! We can’t wait to check it out, as well as all the other items on display!

"SHE SAID ... YES!"

Pretty wedding dresses! Yes! AND SO MUCH MORE!

This Exhibit is opportunity for you to see more than 150 dresses, other garments and objects that date back more than 200 years! Each mannequin, each dress form, and each case in this collection will be a blank canvas upon which we will display a piece of history, a marvel of design and skill, a work of art.

In the coming days, we'll be posting information about the presentations and activities we'll be conducting as part of this Exhibit, as well as information about guided tours for groups.
