12 minutes away from Colossalcon Virginia!

The Colossalcon Grand Prix is a public Itasha Car Meetup at Dominion Raceway, on Friday, September 25th, from 5pm-8pm, featuring a showcase of wrapped cars and cosplayers only 12 minutes away from the Colossalcon Virginia location.

This event brings together enthusiasts for photoshoots, networking, and an opportunity for anyone interested to connect, ask questions, and learn more about the Itasha community.

Additional cars will be accepted to be in the showcase and join the parade laps on site, but this is not guaranteed. The Grand Prix will also feature a handful of parade laps around raceway at 35 miles per hour.
For any questions in relation to this event, please reach out to [email protected].

Ready for Colossalcon East 💥

An apology to all Colossalcon East attendees.

It has been brought to our attention that a newer member of The Kalahari management team has taken it upon themselves to make up and implement a last-minute policy regarding parking and requiring a parking pass. We were not consulted about this matter beforehand, and we never agreed to such a policy. Their mistake should now be fixed, and NO ONE is required to have a parking pass to park while attending Colossalcon East. If anyone has issues with the Kalahari Staff during the convention, please let us know so we can address it.

We thank everyone for their understanding and support.

Performance Guest Announcement: Isekai Stage

Formed in 2022 by Xabier (Guitar/Bass), Nox (Vocals/Production), and R3M (Drummer/Live Director), Isekai Stage began as three friends performing anime and video game music at local conventions. Their content, ranging from full-band performance videos and viral short- form clips to livestreams, has quickly gained traction online, leading to bookings with major companies and helping them grow a dedicated community across social media and streaming platforms.

The band started making waves in the anime/J-rock/J-pop music scene, having performed at major shows, like Anime Expo, the LA Dodgers Game, and Universal Studios Citywalk. The band has also collaborated with major partners, including Sony Music Entertainment Japan, Pony Canyon, Crunchyroll, Hoyoverse, Fuji TV, and more.

Now, the band is moving into original music. Their debut single “SACRIFICE” marks the start of a new chapter, blending their formal musical training with the influences that shaped their sound. Their first EP is set to release in 2026.
