Acoustic Nights is still a retired series, but we have started a NEW series with the same goal of supporting local music in a family-friendly environment!

Announcing The Back Porch Music Series! Music lovers of all ages are invited to experience the Back Porch Music Series at Highfield Hall in Falmouth, starting on June 19th! Attendees are encouraged to bring your own lawn chair or picnic blanket. Come and celebrate the spirit of Summer, support local musicians, and make memories with family and friends at this kid-friendly series! Adults $20, Children 17 and under are FREE. 6-8 pm

Happy summer everyone! Well, maybe not “happy”, but it is indeed summer. Today, we’re officially announcing that Acoustic Nights 2020 has been canceled due to the pandemic and related safety guidelines.

Earlier in the spring, we had hopes of glorious live music this summer – a safe, rejuvenating and cathartic event during a trying time – but at this point canceling seems like it was inevitable. We regret that we aren’t able to help musicians find a rare paying gig this summer, but we’re choosing to err on the side of caution to keep our crew, performers and audience members as safe as possible.

Summer certainly feels incomplete without outdoor concerts, and we feel for all our fellow musicians who have lost their livelihood, at least temporarily. Please find your favorite local musicians online and buy their music, if you’re able. Pay to attend online live performances. Neither of these things are enough to make up for lost shows, but they are better than nothing.

We hope everyone is safe and healthy during this difficult time. We look forward to seeing you out on the Hedge House Lawn in 2021.
