I’ve had my Baby Lock Ballad for soon to be a year and it’s been the happiest year of my life getting to work on such an incredible machine! My OCD causes me to strive for perfection and I finally have gotten to the perfect 1/4 in seam. It’s taken some practice to get it figured out, but mission accomplished.

Huge shout out to Dell Boys Construction of Plentywood for the beautiful sidewalk replacement! 🤩 It’s wonderful to have a contractor who does concrete work! It no longer looks like I possibly buried the body of someone who cut PAPER with FABRIC scissors. 🤭

Quilt #3 for the week finished! Ellie 2.0 is fabulous. Smooth motion, no weird noises, no constant oiling and babysitting. Her tone and pitch is different and we’re not going home with headaches after listening to her run all day. Who knew how easy life can be when you get a machine that works perfectly right out of the box! 😂. We’ve had an extremely productive week. Goal is to get 5 baby quilts done next week before we leave on vacation!

First quilt coming off of Ellie 2.0. It’s incredible how different she sounds while running. Every machine has their own unique sounds and rhythms.
