Pleasanton Hometown Holiday Parade, Tree Lighting, and Celebration This annual event is a community-based parade followed by a tree lighting in front of the Museum on Main. It takes place on the 1st Saturday in December.

The City of Pleasanton invites you to kick-off the holiday season at the annual Hometown Holiday Parade with floats, marching bands, community groups and more as the hometown tradition marches down Main Street. After the parade, the mayor will light the tree, there will be musical entertainment and an appearance by Santa. This is a free event, open to everyone. There is no charge for parade entrie
