The Rotary Club of Pleasanton is hosting its 29th annual Halloween Spirit Run this Sunday, a popular community event downtown that raises money toward funding student scholarships and community grants.

Here’s a throwback pic to our 2019 event!

The 2022 Halloween Spirit Run will be held on Main Street in Downtown Pleasanton on Sunday, October 30. The 5K & 10K races will start and finish in front of Workbench Hardware at 8:00 am. A Kids Challenge, for those 2-8 years, will take place at 9:30 am.

Though optional, costumes are encouraged at the Pleasanton Rotary Halloween Spirit Run! Race day is Sunday, October 30 (day before Halloween).

The Halloween Spirit Run is the largest annual fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Pleasanton. Proceeds from the race help fund scholarships and grants for local students and non profit organizations. This year, the Rotary Club of Pleasanton has been able to award:

- $54,000 in scholarships to local high school students
- $22,500 in scholarships to local college students
- $36,600 in grants to 22 different local non profit organizations
