We have been getting questions about what weekend the contest will be. We are sad to announce that we will not be having Smokin On Big Creek this year.

Maybe in the future we will see about bringing it back.

Everyone remember your muck boots! The rain Monday caused some issues up around the field grass area I will need to move a few teams because it is suppose to rain on Friday.

Fairgrounds are in good shape and as long as we don’t get a bunch of rain (knock on wood) we will have the majority of the teams on the north side of the pavilion. Space assignments will be set soon but as always they are subject to change.

We are up to 37 teams.

I will be emailing information about early setup Thursday after 4:30 pm, Friday morning, meat inspection and everything else by Sunday Night. Hope this helps those who have not cooked the contest. And NO! I do not have the assignments for your team yet. If you are returning I will do my best to make sure you are in the same spot as last year.

There are some changes this year. The building will not be used due to water damage from a broken valve.

We have 35 paid teams registered so far. In the registration process, there is a box that we did not make mandatory that asks for Team Name and information on trailer size if they have one.
