📣 2026 Plainville Fire Company Hot Air Balloon Festival Update

Applications for food trucks, entertainment, crafters, and vendors for the 2026 Plainville Fire Company Hot Air Balloon Festival will be available beginning April 1st.

As previously stated, we are not accepting any applications prior to April 1st, and we will not be responding to or entertaining requests for applications until after that date. All information and application details will be released when they officially become available.

We’re excited to welcome both new and returning faces to this year’s festival! Just like in previous years, our committee is working very diligently behind the scenes to continue improving the experience for everyone who attends.

📢 Festival Date Change Announcement 🎈

The Plainville Fire Company Hot Air Balloon Festival dates have been updated. The event will now take place on Friday, August 28th and Saturday, August 29th, instead of the originally posted August 21st and 22nd. This change is due to scheduling conflicts with some of our vendors, and adjusting the dates will allow us to provide the best experience possible for everyone attending.

At this time, we are still not accepting vendor requests of any kind. We will make an official post with all necessary details once we begin accepting vendor applications and any other festival-related requests for this year.

At this time, no requests to participate in the Plainville Fire Company Hot Air Balloon Festival will be reviewed or processed. The committee is still working behind the scenes to finalize key details and lock in certain aspects of the event. Once everything is confirmed and ready, we will publish an official post with all applicable information and instructions needed to sign up as a vendor. We appreciate your patience and look forward to sharing more details in the coming weeks.

Good morning everyone! Despite the frigid temperatures we’re dealing with right now, its time to look forward to the warm summer months as we are pleased to announce the 39th Plainville Fire Company Hot Air Balloon Festival happening on Friday, August 21st and Saturday, August 22nd!

More details will be announced in the future as we get closer to this years event. Thank you for the support and we look forward to seeing everyone again!

For those who wanted t-shirts from this year's event, but weren't able to get them, we will attempt to order more if there is enough interest. T-shirts are $20 if you pickup, otherwise they can be shipped at an additional cost.
