Pittsford Candlelight Night A festive kickoff to the holidays for the whole family. Pittsford celebrates its annual Candlelight Night the first Tuesday of December from 5-8pm!

Village streets will be filled with holiday cheer and the sounds of live music, carolers and sleigh bells. Holiday lights will twinkle in the night as will the hundreds of luminaries that line the sidewalks and streets. It will be the perfect night for shopping, dining, and enjoying holiday treats. A Pittsford tradition, Candlelight Night provides an evening of fun for the whole family. There will

be THREE different tree lightings, Santa and Mrs. Claus sightings, and FREE horse-drawn wagon rides between the center of the village and the canal all night long.

TONIGHT's the night! Candlelight Night is here! 5-8 p.m.

Join us as the magic of the season fills the air with horse-drawn carriage rides, carolers, tree lightings, visits from Santa, The Grinch, Mrs. Claus. Live reindeer, alpaca, kid's activities all throughout the Village.

So many of our wonderful businesses will welcome you with goodies and specials of the night.

Sit and warm up in our tent located behind Thirsty's this year. Tables, heat lamp will help you enjoy your meals from our food vendors.

The Pub Crawl will run from 5-10 p.m.

Shuttle buses from Sutherland HS and Pittsford Plaza (by Century Liquor) will make it easy for you to get to the Village. Parking at the Library lot, a section of St. Louis Church and some side streets.

Important Traffic and Parking Information:

To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants, South Main Street will be closed to through traffic from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM on the event day. Specifically, the closure will extend between the Four Corners (Monroe and State Streets) down to Church Street. Please plan your travel accordingly and consider alternative routes during this time.

Parking Options:

Available Lots: Parking is available behind the library, at designated sections of St. Louis Church, behind Northfield Common, and along Schoen Place.

Shuttle Services: Complimentary shuttles will run from 5:00 PM, with the last return at 7:45 PM. Please note that dogs are not allowed on buses, and buses are not handicapped accessible.

Shuttle #1: Sutherland High School to Lincoln Road and South Main Street.
Shuttle #2: Pittsford Plaza (in front of Century Liquor) to the back parking lot of The DelMonte Inn.

We encourage attendees to arrive early to enjoy the festivities fully and to minimize traffic congestion.

This cherished tradition marks the beginning of the winter holidays, bringing together our community for an evening of festive activities throughout the Village of Pittsford.

Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides: Experience the charm of the village in a classic carriage.

Special Guests: Enjoy visits from Santa, Mrs. Claus, and The Grinch.

Tree Lightings: Join us for the illumination ceremonies at:
5:30 PM at State & Main Streets
6:00 PM at Schoen Place Pavilion

6:45 PM at Northfield Common Gazebo (across from Label 7)
Kid’s Zone at Northfield Common: Fun activities including an obstacle course, face painting, live reindeer, photos with Santa, and live alpacas.

Local Businesses: Village shops will offer special sales, events, and treats to welcome attendees.

Food and Refreshments: Savor a variety of options from food trucks or dine at local restaurants.

Annual Pub Crawl: Participate in the pub crawl with drink specials at various local bars and restaurants.
