Spring marathon - start from Pittsburgh on May,28th!

HOW

The main secret of a marathon is to keep moving. The fewer stops we make the faster we get to the finish. No need for rush –
just keep 80% of your maximum speed, it will help to spend energy effectively to cover all the way. Go steady!

Short stops for 5 - 15 minutes to re-charge for water and snacks – every 30…40 miles

Major stops to get a real food and to rest for 15-30 minutes - every 70…80 miles

1 hour sleep halfway in Cumberland

Nice sightseen and fun – all the way down the road

A crew in a track will carry water, food and spare parts and meet us on every scheduled stop. Restaurants will be reserved at the places of stops and a sleep shelter will be provided in a close proximity to the trail.

A bus will take us back from DC to Pittsburgh on Sunday night.

Registration fee $250, all you’ll need to do then – is just to pedal! Should be easy! ))

WHEN

Saturday, May, 28th: We will start in Pittsburgh from Carnegie Mellon University at 4 pm and make 150 miles of pretty comfortable Great Algeni Passage during a night, then there will be 180 miles of somewhat bumpy C&O to Washington, DC.

Sounds simple, right? Google says – it is just 24 hours!

WHY

It is cool – to know that you can do what everybody else perceives as impossible.

It is cool - to surprise yourself with your own strength and endurance.

It is cool - to won a fight with a group of people you will discover to be very special and as strong as you are.

It is cool – to feel that you got tied with them on a very deep and trusty level after everything that you overcame together.

It is not notorious ‘networking’, it is – creating deep relationships, that will last for long.

WHO

This is not only about sport and not only about cycling, it is about building bridges and making strong relationships.

Getting an MBA? Got one? Or just love cyclilng that much? - Let’s go for a ride!

As a qualification, just post your GPS ride track of 100 miles for less than 8 hours (if you can do that, you can do it to DC in 30).
