ARCC Spring Theatre

ARCC Spring Theatre Brought to you by Awareness of Roots in Chinese Culture
Carnegie Mellon University

Spring Theatre, previously known as ONiB, is the biggest annual cultural show put on by Awareness of Roots in Chinese Culture (ARCC) at Carnegie Mellon University. Debuted in April 2005, Spring Theatre showcased and highlighted the often-overlooked diversity within Chinese culture comprising a variety of unique sub-cultures and ethnicities. The goal of this show is to increase the campus community

's awareness of Chinese traditions and customs beyond the pop culture we see in the media today - traditions that represent not only the more general Chinese culture, but also the cultures and traditions of the various ethnic Chinese nationalities. Spring Theatre showcases these cultures and traditions through various dances, musical performances, martial arts performances, and a drama reproduction of a traditional Chinese story.
