2027 DATES: Feb. 25-March 6th, 2027
pittsburghfringe.org The Pittsburgh Fringe is…

ARTISTICALLY, CULTURALLY, AND STYLISTICALLY DIVERSE – We remove external pressure so that artists can explore their medium fully and completely, resulting in the kind of creative expression and freedom that enlivens communities and bolsters cultural growth. UNJURIED – Following the model of other successful fringe festivals, we use a blind selection process to ensure that no one other than the artist is making value judgements on the potential for exciting work. If you think your show is worth producing. We think your show is worth producing

AFFORDABLE AND EASY – We try to be affordable not only for the performers, by keeping upfront costs low and ticket returns high, but by also by keeping costs down for audience members. We try to make it easy for audiences and artists to gain access to find each other. We are also dedicated to working with special and exceptional cases of artists and audiences to ensure that every corner of our community is embraced and served. We are the most affordable Fringe festival in the US with comparable ticket payout festivals.

Pittsburgh artists! Our Executive Director is heading to Philly Monday to be on a panel at FringeArts about touring your show: getting it to other fringes, Edinburgh, and figuring out what comes after the first run. It's free and hybrid, so you can join on Zoom from here.

Monday, Nov 2, 6–8 PM. I'm on the panel with Chris Davis, Jacinta Yelland, and Alice Yorke.

If you've ever wondered whether your show could travel, come ask us.
