Join us on March 15, 2025 for the 4th Annual Chatham YMCA Leprechaun Dash 5K | 10K. for the annual Leprechaun Dash! No matter what, don't forget to wear green!

Join us on March 15 at 8:30 a.m. This 5K or 10K run raises money for youth-serving opportunities right here in Chatham County. On what will be a fun and challenging course, we'll celebrate St. Patrick's Day and raise money for children in Chatham County. Whether you're tuning up for a spring half marathon like To

bacco Road or just want a good goal for a New Year's Resolution, this race is for you. Prizes will be awarded for age groups as well as the best leprechaun attire. The Course
Beginning at the all-new Chatham Park YMCA (120 Parkland Drive, Pittsboro), you'll race through Chatham Park. "Dashers" are encouraged to make a day of it exploring Chatham Park and downtown Pittsboro, where you can easily walk to a number of restaurants or breweries for lunch or brunch. Want to walk either course? You're welcome to! We plan to keep our timing set-up until at least 11 a.m. We just ask that you stay on sidewalks and cross the roads safely at crosswalks and street corners. We can not guarantee police presence past 10:30 a.m. Stroller and pet policies: Baby strollers/joggers are permitted, but for the safety of all participants please start at the back behind the runners and walkers. Pets are not allowed on the racecourse. A Start, a Finish and a Grand Opening! We're excited to welcome the Leprechaun Dash to the all-new Chatham Park YMCA that will be celebrating its GRAND OPENING on Sat., March 15! All event proceeds support the Chatham community through YMCA after school, summer day camp and membership scholarships. Annually, the Chatham YMCA provides $80,000 worth of scholarships for LOCAL child care and youth-serving programs where we seek to build people through outdoor activities, sports and leadership development. These scholarships also support the community in living a healthy lifestyle and finding a place where they belong at the YMCA. Greetings, Leprechaun Dashers!

Our good friends and neighbors at the Ingram Family YMCA in Sanford are hosting a family-friendly ℍ𝕒𝕣𝕧𝕖𝕤𝕥 𝔻𝕒𝕤𝕙 5K and 1-mile run/jog/walk (skipping presumably would be acceptable, too) on Saturday, October 4 at Kiwanis Family Park.

The Harvest Dash is kind of like the Leprechaun Dash's cool infant cousin, so we're excited to watch it grow and encourage you to check it out!
