The Village of Pinehurst will be closed on Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth National Independence Day.

Village Hall, the Cannon Park Community Center, Fair Barn and Given Memorial Library & Tufts Archives will be closed. Regular operations will resume on Monday.

Juneteenth commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and serves as a time to reflect on our nation's history and celebrate freedom.

We wish everyone a safe and meaningful holiday.
