South Florida HerStory Women's Empowerment Conference, now known as Florida HerStory Women's Empowerment Group, is having a job finding workshop and job fair for women at the Coral Gables Women's Club in Coral Gables, Florida on October 23, 2021. Highly qualified speakers will be addressing the following topics:
*How to network and find work, *How to use social media for displaying your professional/work qualifications, *How to start and run your own business, *How to best write your resume and *How to continue looking for work after the job fair if not hired at it. The eventbrite link is for both employers looking to hire women and women who would like to attend the workshop and/or the job fair. Another change in date has happened, our South Florida HerStory Women's Empowerment Conference will now be virtual and held on December 12, 2020 because we have been invited and agreed to be part of the HerStory Women's Empowerment Global Summit! Speakers will only have to pay $55 to participate and get global exposure and recognition and attendees will only have to pay $40 to watch a full day of inspirational, amazing, empowered women share their stories. 🤩

They didn't include us for some reason last Friday but Getrude, the HerStory global founder and curator, had us meet on Zoom and videoed us then posted our presentations on the HerStory YouTube channel.

Also, some good news to share...we have secured the Coral Gables Women's Club as the venue for the South Florida HerStory Women's Empowerment Conference, which will take place November 7, 2020. The event was never secured at UM.

It appears we may be holding it a little later than initially planned but still in 2020, the centennial anniversary of women's right to vote in The United States! Please stay tuned as we will soon be closing this page and opening a Facebook group for everyone interested in following and/or being a part of the conference in any way!
