If you are an aspiring sponsor or participating merchant, charity, or in any other way planning on being affiliated with this project, please feel free to post an advertisement for your shop, charity, or local small business here on the group page. Invite your friends, family, and co-workers to like the page and investigate the event - like coming out on the days thereof and checking it out first hand. There has been a lot already talked out, and still a lot more to add before we kick off on the morning of February 10th. Yes, it will be small and have a lot of room for improvements - what start up event doesn't have "teething pains"? However, this group will remain active for so long as there is an event to be planned and put on in the following years.

Volunteers are still needed.

Merchants are still needed (there is an application in the FILES section of this same page). Your application can be returned to us as a attached file. It merely a formality to secure your space for the event. We are not compiling information nor are we selling it to anyone else.

Fighters/Demonstrators are still needed (there is a standard liability waiver that must be printed out and brought with you to check-in on the morning of the 9th).

Like I said, there is still a lot that needs done and we are just a little over four months away from opening day. The principle organizers - Ravenholde, meet twice a week at Green Valley Park beginning at 0830 on Friday and Sunday mornings. You are more than welcome to come out, enjoy the demonstrations and speak with us directly

One of local sponsors - we still need more if you are interested.

need of volunteer support! We need parking assistance, food servers for the "feast hall", groundskeepers, and security during the open hours of the event.

The event is still looking for local stage acts, or bands, willing to perform gratis in return for being allowed to sell merchandise and ask for tips. We are a start up and therefore we cannot afford booking fees.

The event NEEDS local small merchants to fill our marketplace! Space is FREE! The only things you are risking in agreeing to be a part of Wynter War is three days and some gasoline. We cannot predict the event turnout but given the level of engagement we are receiving thus far, it is a safe bet that we will get some turnout and you will make some sales. Your wares should be handcrafted, your prices on par with this being a small, local, event, and your mode of dress that of a Medieval craftsperson.

For more information, or to request an application for merchant's space, please contact:

and request your application. The form is only so that your place is reserved. We are not building any lists of information or have any plans to retain same once the faire has been built and staffed.

Our two-day, double elimination, tournament will be held on the 11th and 12th. The loser's bracket from Day-1 will compete again on Sunday and then the finals will be held Sunday afternoon after a suitable rest period.

We are suggesting an entry fee of $5 per fighter. The purse, of course, then goes to the winner on Sunday. There may be a second prize if the turnout merits such a thing.

Reminder that the liability waivers are due in to us by January 25th 2023. ALL fighters are required to have this waiver in order to compete in the tournament. They require notary service in order to be legal and therefore the time frame for getting them completed.

You may request your waiver via email
