If you’ve never experienced a Buhurt event, it is a martial competition with skilled fighters in period armors, bringing medieval history to life in a fun & dramatic way! In the Marketplace and on the Stages, we'll also have three days of fighting, feasting, & merrymaking, an informal Buhurt “school”, as well as a myriad of roving village characters & players. Individual fighters & Guilds will interact with tourney-going patrons & populate the shire with their demonstrations & encampments. You’ll also find a marketplace with arts & crafts, where you can see artisan demonstrations & even participate; in delicious food, drink & making merry!

How Much?:
Admission to this event is FREE. Parking is, likewise, FREE.
All entertainment, shows, & numerous free activities. You may choose to purchase arts & crafts items, game tickets, food, & drinks. Our volunteers (such as food servers) are permitted to accept gratuities (tips). If they have been of good service, please recognize their hard work.
How does re-entry work?
Come or go as you will. Again, this event is FREE to the general public.
Are Costumes Required?:
To enjoy the Tourney, you can come as you are! Dress comfortably & appropriately. Proper tasteful attire, including shoes & shirts, must be worn at all times. If you’d like to join in the fun by dressing up, your participation is welcome & encouraged!
Are Costume Weapons Allowed?:
All costume weapons must be secured (peace-tied). In other words, weapons may not be brandished for any purpose at the event. Our security will enforce this rule at the gate & around
the Faire. Safety is of the utmost importance, as this is a family event.
Are There Any Special Codes of Conduct?:
The event is family-friendly, & we endeavor to provide a safe, fun, & enjoyable experience for all guests. Respect for others & common courtesy to fellow patrons is expected. The use of profanity or unsafe, offensive, disruptive, or illegal behavior will not be tolerated.
Is Outside Food & Drink Allowed?:
No outside food & drink is permitted aside from bottled water. Infant formula/food is an exception to this rule.
Are Alcoholic Beverages Served?:
This is a “Dry” event. There will be no public sales of alcohol. Performers are also reminded that drinking during the open hours of the event is frowned upon and must be limited to “after hours” activities.
Is The Event Wheelchair Accessible?:
Wheelchairs & motorized wheelchairs are allowed. Accessible parking is available. The terrain however is open ground and rough. Be aware of these conditions before venturing out.
Are Pets Allowed at The Event?:
Pets are not permitted but service animals are welcome. Service animals are required to have their vests and other official documentation. House pets DO NOT normally respond well to some of the activities which we will be presenting. Nor to persons in strange garb or behaving oddly. Please, for their safety, and ours, leave them at home.
Is Smoking Permitted in the Event Grounds?:
Smoking is allowed in designated areas only. For the comfort of all guests, smoking is strictly prohibited in the arena, in shops, or near stages & audience areas. Performers are reminded that smoking modern ci******es, e-ci******es, va**ng, or smoking of modern ci**rs is not allowed in view of our patrons. Please, establish an area inside of your own camps wherein those amongst your number as need to smoke may do so out of view of the general public. Use of ma*****na should also be limited to these same areas. Proof of Legality as concerns ma*****na use may be requested by event security at any time – keep your card with you.
Are Cellular Phones Allowed?:
Cell phones set to vibrate mode are respectful of your fellow patrons. Cell phone usage is not permitted in the audience area of any stage performance. Patrons, please ASK before taking pictures. Some of us are camera shy. Performers, as with smoking in view of our patrons, you will not make obvious use of cell phones, iPads, laptops, or any other form of modern technology.
