Your talents could be a great fit for our **Cheese Fest Website Committee!** 🧀

Our website is one of the main places people go for Cheese Fest information, and we’re looking for someone who can help keep it current as plans come together.

You’d help connect the dots between our Board, committees, and website—gathering updates and making sure schedules, events, links, and other festival information stay up to date.

You don’t need to be a professional web developer! If you’re comfortable with technology, pay attention to the details, and would enjoy putting those skills to use for Cheese Fest, we’d love to hear from you.

We get it—and we still need you! 🧀

There are plenty of ways to volunteer during Cheese Fest without making a big commitment. Whether you have a few hours to give, want to help behind the scenes, or just enjoy being part of a community event, we’d love to have you!

Some of the areas where we need volunteers include:

🚨 Interested in serving on the Pine Island Cheese Festival Board of Directors? 🚨



Serving on the Board starts with getting involved, and it’s time to elect our 2026-2027 Pine Island Cheese Festival Board of Directors!



Per our current bylaws, Board candidates should have prior leadership experience as a Committee Chair, or have comparable experience serving on another festival or nonprofit board. This helps ensure Board members have an understanding of the planning, coordination, and commitment it takes to make the Pine Island Cheese Festival a success. Board positions have a 2-year term, and current open positions are President (currently held by Terrilynn Sutherland), Treasurer (currently held by Lindsay Johnson), and Secretary (currently held by Kylee Thiede).



If you've been thinking about becoming more involved, now is a great time to join a committee and help shape the future of Cheese Fest!



Please send your interest to [email protected] by 5pm CST on July 29. Ballots will be sent to the Cheese Festival Planning Committee for voting July 30-31, and the 2026-2027 Board of Directors will be announced at our monthly meeting on August 3rd at 7pm at Trailhead Grill and Lanes.



For those simply interested in joining the Cheese Festival Planning Committee to be involved but not in a Board position, simply let us know at [email protected] and we will add you to our communications distribution list. We currently meet the first Monday of every month at 7pm at Trailhead Grill and Lanes!



Many hands make light work, and we love to have new faces, ideas, and people to help continue to grow the Pine Island Cheese Festival!

LRS, our portable bathrooms service, found a phone that they were able to recover and called the emergency contact and left a message, and called the last person called “Nate” but they didn’t answer. If this is your phone we have it for you and can coordinate a pick up.
