Who remembers the Nahunta Grange? The Grange is a farm organization that represents the interest of rural farming families. The Nahunta Grange was active from 1937 until the late 1980s/early 1990s. The Grange exists to seek improvement and advancement of rural living. Originally meeting in Nahunta School, the Nahunta Grange constructed a building in 1949. At one time, the Grange had up to 150 members throughout the Nahunta Community. Pictured: The Nahunta Grange Recreational Building – the old Mormon Church near the Nahunta Swim Club.

Memorial Primitive Baptist Church – Founded 1832 – No longer active but the beautiful building was constructed in 1859 according to Primitive Baptist Association Meeting Notes.
Nahunta Friends Meeting – 1860 – Records date to the first half of the 19th Century but no date is given.
Union Grove OFWB Church – 1871
Little Rock Church - 1880
Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church – 1885
Pleasant Hill FWB Church – 1885
Pinkney Missionary Baptist – 1909
Pike’s Crossroads Pentecostal Holiness Church – 1923
Anchored in Christ Pentecostal Church – 2011
