Above the Vineyard - Farm Events Above the Vineyard Events is an event service business that hosts weddings,receptions, family, church and business events on a working farm.

Above the Vineyard Event Farm is a working farm of all sorts of orchards producing a variety of berries and fruits in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains near Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. There is an outdoor amphitheater for events such as weddings, concerts and presentations. Mountain Mist Farms also has a u-pick season where folks can come gather luscious blueberries and several varieties of

raspberries. The farm offers scenic settings for a variety of photography sessions. An event barn is currently under construction and will be ready for large indoor events in late spring of 2016.

The wildfires that ravaged much of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Gatlinburg got fairly close to the farm. Fortunately we made it through unscathed and now covet your thoughts and prayers for our mountain tough neighbors.

My husband and I were married at Mountain Mist Farms in 2010. It was absolutely magical. The views were stunning. It was exactly the fairytale wedding we had imagined, the views of Mountain Mist Farms’ vineyard surrounded by the great Smoky Mountains were something out of the storybooks. Although we felt a million miles away, our guests and vendors had just a short easy drive to the location.

Management was wonderful to work with and went out of their way on several occasions to make our wedding day perfect. This included the charming on site cabins that were made available to each of our wedding parties in order to get ready for the occasion.

Prior to our wedding day, we used the farm itself as the setting for our engagement photo shoot, which turned out just as dazzling as our wedding day photos. With the abundant features on the farm itself, it made for an ideal location for all of our photos, no two looking the same.
