Together as God’s people, we are called to extend our hands and hearts to those in need 🙏🏼 Please join us in collecting supplies and donations for hurricane relief—let’s come together to support the communities of Western NC and show the love of Christ IN ACTION.

Our church will be receiving donations and can be dropped off anytime under the awning facing the school!

Below is a list of needs:

Water (bottled water or gallon jugs)
Batteries
Baby wipes
Paper towels
Paper plates
Plastic utensils
Toilet paper
Garbage bags
Hand sanitizer
Protein or fruit bars
Dry cereal or granola
Peanut butter
Dried fruit

Now that the dust has settled we just want to take a moment to humbly thank each and every one of the folks involved in making the 2nd Annual Grits 'n Grass Mountain Music Festival happen! We had another year of very special moments that we personally have never witnessed at any other event. There honestly is just a unique vibe and identity that has formed at this Festival and it’s hard to explain unless you are there.

We want to thank the sponsors, the incredible artists, the volunteers, vendors, our amazing emcee Big Al Weekley, Matthew D Chappell and Dave Snyder, the Hagood Mill Historic Site, and especially our kids, Nicholas, Elaina, and Britany for keeping things (and us) moving all weekend.

We had such a fantastic time this weekend with folks from all over the country coming to our lil Blue Ridge Mountain festival. We were truly the lil Festival “that could” this weekend! Not giving in to the rainy forecast and the other surrounding elements against us! We appreciate the true music and nature lovers who hung in tough with us and realized a gorgeous perfect weather weekend under the big mountain sky!!! The talent was off the charts and the fellowship filled my heart ♥️ Feeling so blessed this morning!!!

We have had the most incredible day of music and fun in the Blue Ridge mountains at the Grits ‘n Grass Mountain Music Festival 2024! Lonesome River Band coming up to close out night 2! And NO RAIN y’all! Lord I’m sorry if you missed out on this incredible event so far but we will be back tomorrow, Saturday September 14th! Gates open at 10am!!!
