Continuing the Dogwood tradition of honoring service-minded young people in our community, last week we celebrated our Dogwood Royals Christine and Gus, and our Junior Royals Aribella and Lakota.
Christine and Gus will be awarded scholarships from Soroptimist International of Phoenixville and the Phoenixville Jaycees Foundation for their role in planning and executing service projects in the community.
Aribella and Lakota helped raise money to support the Dogwood Festival and other community projects and got to ride in the Dogwood Parade!
Congrats to all the Dogwood Royals, we are so excited to see where this next generation of young people will go!

Sending a huge THANK YOU to all the volunteers that lent a hand this week and the committee members who spent months planning this event. Our volunteers have families, jobs, school, other nonprofits they volunteer with, and they still find the time to help out at the Dogwood Festival. Thank you all for selflessly ensuring this 81-year tradition continues! 💜

Watch from the Gay St Bridge, Schuylkill River Trail, or Main St, then stop by the Dogwood Festival after the parade for a day of fun!
