This is has been a pretty rough week for the Black Potatoe family. Carter and I were partners in Atomic Productions, the production company that came before Black Potatoe. We produced 99% of the albums Black Potatoe made , and we were the originators of the Black Potatoe Music Festival, which the first year was a CD release for the my band at the time, Angus.

Carter was one of the few folks that were involved with Black Potatoe when we put out our first release in the summer of 1988.

Without Carter’s involvement, Black Potatoe would not have been as successful as it was. Carter is a solid guys and one my best friends, so….

If you can help out, please do so. I cannot tell how wonderful it would be to see this get funded sooner rather than later. And as always,

Today the Black Potatoe family lost one of it’s best. Glenn Ehrhardt, was a great guy with a great sense of humor and he was always willing to lend a hand. I do not remember the exact moment I met Glenn, nor can I remember a time where Glenn was not helping the festival to run as smoothly as it did. I also cannot think of the festival without thinking of the hundreds of people I’ve met and friended at, or through the festival. There were many people who made the festival run, none more important than the next, it was always truly a team effort. Glenn was a big part of that team, he was a great leader for that team.

I live on the west coast now, and unfortunately I do not get to see many people that I used to see often. As we get older we lose touch with one another, and while I communicated with Glenn a few times a year, it had been a few months since I had called him. It is a reminder to call those that have made an impact on your life, don’t wait for the call. Thank you to Glenn’s brother for letting me know earlier today, and peace and love to Glenn’s family and friends.

Everyone take care of themselves and each other, and I hope to catch up with everybody soon. Thank you Glenn for helping make Black Potatoe an event that so many loved as much as you did,

Trump is completely unable to comment negatively on anything before it is ultimately shoved down his throat and shown to be a complete moron every single time.

Sunday night's Super Bowl and Bad Bunny fell short of setting records for most-watched U.S. broadcast and halftime show. U.S. game viewership was down from last year’s 127.7 million and Bad Bunny's performance was down from last year's record 133.5 million viewers of Kendrick Lamar's show.

Full global viewership for the halftime show is expected to be available early next week.

It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the loss of Donna Jean Godchaux. Her unmistakable voice and radiant spirit touched the lives of countless fans and immeasurably enriched the Grateful Dead family. Her contributions will forever remain part of the tapestry that continues to be woven. We send our deepest condolences to her loved ones and ask for privacy for her family during this time.
