With a heavy heart, I’m sharing that NovelCon 2027 has been officially cancelled.

Readers of the Valley has always been a one-woman-run passion project, and I truly love creating these events for this community.

But at this point, with my chronic spine and ongoing medical issues continuing to worsen, I’ve had to make the difficult decision—per medical guidance—to step back from large-scale events beyond 2026. Continuing at this pace would be more detrimental to my health, and I have to prioritize my long-term well-being.

💭 What this means:
• NovelCon 2027 will no longer take place

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and deeply appreciate your understanding and support.

🤍 What about 2026?
Nothing has changed — all 2026 events are moving forward as planned:
• NovelCon
• Summer Brunch
• Booksgiving
• Nevermore

I can’t wait to experience these with you and make this year truly unforgettable.

✨ Looking ahead:
In 2027, I’ll be shifting toward smaller, more intimate, author-focused events that still allow me to stay connected with this incredible community. I don’t know what 2028 and beyond will hold for Readers of the Valley—but I do know how much this space and all of you mean to me.

We are currently seeking 100+ authors and a curated selection of bookish vendors to join us for this exciting event.
