The other day, I received an email that stopped me for a moment: “We’d love to help you celebrate RAVP’s incredible 50-year milestone at the 2026 NAMM Show.”
Milestones like this do two things at once. They remind you of how much you’ve given, and they quietly invite you to reflect on where you once thought you’d be. The recognition feels good, because it’s real, but it also brings perspective. The journey didn’t unfold exactly as imagined, and that’s okay. What matters is that the work mattered, the people mattered, and the years were not empty. There’s no regret in that, just an honest understanding that impact doesn’t always look the way you once pictured it, and that the journey itself still counts.
