In effort to raise awareness to the number one killer of our youth, I stretched the limits of my personal resources and the resources of our nonprofit organization. Resulting in delayed compensation to some who participated in the project. All debts will be honored. It saddens my heart deeply to make this official announcement to our publics and supporters.
Our organization was sorely in lack of support to carry out our mission to intervene and raise awareness to youth violence and substance abuse.
I am gratfeul for those who have embraced the mision and gave their full support with a spirit of altruism. Some even to the point of donating their time and talent.
Despite any and all negative response to the unfortunate outcomes of our Valentine’s Day project, and the purpose of the BAM love movement, I will continue to carry the burden of the calling.
It’s my prayer that the Black Community wakes up and takes the necessary steps to become the problem solvers to the trauma that has been put on us since our ancestors were stolen and forced to help build this country. Trauma!!!
And i say it boldy and unapologetically. It has negatively impacted us in ways that we don’t always see, but we can clearly see how today’s most popular forms of entertainment is negatively imacting our youth. Yet we have no power or control of any of the mediums that industry uses.
I want to encourage all who understand and are carrying a burden and desire to positively intervene against the problems faced by all marginalized communities; to step out on faith and be a part of the solution regardless of your own so called inadequacies or personal struggles and do the right thing to the best of your ability.

Temporary Suspension of Operations
BAM Music & Fine Arts
Board Resolution – Temporary Suspension
Date: February 18, 2026
WHEREAS, BAM Music & Fine Arts has experienced cash-flow constraints related to a recent project and related payment processing issues; and
WHEREAS, the organization seeks to act prudently, transparently, and in good faith to reconcile outstanding obligations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that:
1. BAM Music & Fine Arts shall temporarily suspend programmatic operations and new event activity effective immediately.
2. The purpose of this suspension is to allow for financial reconciliation, administrative review, and resolution of outstanding obligations.
3. No new contracts, checks, or financial commitments shall be entered into during the suspension period.
4. Priority shall be given to resolving outstanding compensation owed to performers and reimbursing any related fees incurred.
5. The Founding Director is authorized to communicate with creditors, issue partial payments as funds become available, and implement corrective administrative procedures.
6. The Board shall review the organization’s status and determine next steps prior to resuming operations.
