At loss of words. Big Adam big_adamm kept us safe for three years. From downtown Phoenix, to the The Refinery Christian Church First Fridays, to the Goodyear ballpark. He moved with us. He grew with us. He stood at every gate of every version of this dream.

He was the first face thousands of you saw walking in. If you ever felt safe at our events, that was him.

To me, he was more than security. He was encouragement in human form. He once wrote: “Let your actions and your energy announce your intentions and your purpose. Be the monster in the shadows that allows your people to shine in the spotlight.”
The endless phone conversations and discussions about life, religion and business…

That was Adam. Every night, in every photo, right there behind us, making sure we could shine. When things got hard, he’d tell me: you’re doing everything right. Stay focused. Keep growing. Let them be… 😔.

I hear his voice saying it still.

Rest easy, Big Adam. The gate won’t be the same, but everything you protected keeps growing. Just like you told us it would.

We love you. Forever part of the First Friday family. 💛🕊
