Hello SoHA Family -
If your life has been positively impacted by SoHA: Sanctuary of Healing Arts, I really need your help right now.
I am collecting photos, videos, and testimonials about your experiences at SoHA. These will be used to make a scrap book for me to remember my time at SoHA and to create an archival book to share with all of you to memorialize what we have created here. We can all be proud of what we created, and I want you to be able to remember it too. Secondly, I am looking to utilize your photos and testimonials in the marketing of SoHA for prospective buyers who may want to continue running SoHA as a healing center. Reading your testimonials will help convey to a buyer how important our work is here and how it has impacted the community.

SoHA Is For Sale
After a great deal of reflection, I’ve made the decision to offer SoHA for sale.
Some people are called to be builders, and some people are called to be operators. Spirit has made it increasingly clear to me that I’m a builder. I feel deeply grateful for what has been created here and deeply grateful to all of you for helping to create this. I believe the time has come to find the person—or group of people—called to steward SoHA into its next chapter.
Maybe that person is reading this. Or maybe you know them.
Since 2011, my core business has been providing mortgages that help non-U.S.-citizen Mexican immigrants purchase homes in Texas. Changes in immigration policy and the resulting uncertainty have dramatically changed that market. My mortgage business income has declined by approximately 95%, with no indication of a near-term recovery.
That business has provided much of the financial support that allowed me to build and develop SoHA. Without that income, continuing to personally fund the project is no longer sustainable for me.
More importantly, I’m ready for a different season of life. I’ve spent many years building, creating and carrying large projects. I’m ready to retire, travel, make music, and give myself the deep rest I’ve been calling in.
The Opportunity
SoHA is a remarkable 142-acre farm-to-table retreat and arts property near Philomath, Oregon, with approximately 20 buildings and 40,000 square feet of improved space.
The property includes 21 bedrooms plus four tiny homes, with approximately 50 beds, along with extensive retreat, gathering, agricultural, artistic and recreational infrastructure.
One of SoHA’s most extraordinary features is its relationship to the surrounding forest. The property borders the approximately 10,000-acre forested Rock Creek Municipal Watershed, which connects directly with the Siuslaw National Forest—placing SoHA alongside an extraordinary expanse of more than 30,000 acres of contiguous public and protected forest and watershed lands.
This is not simply a piece of real estate. It is an opportunity to operate a retreat center, healing sanctuary, arts center, educational campus, intentional community, farm, or some combination that perhaps hasn't even been imagined yet.
Purchase Price & Seller Financing
The asking price is seven million which includes all the personal property, equipment and vehicles used to operate a retreat center. Seller financing is available.

I’m hosting a tour this Sunday for people who are seriously interested in exploring the possibility of purchasing SoHA.
We will meet at the SoHA Farm Stand promptly at 2:00 PM. Because we’ll be moving together through a large property, late arrivals cannot be accommodated.
Please allow approximately 90 minutes for the tour, followed by time for questions and conversation.
SoHA is a big place with enormous possibilities. Its next chapter will require vision, resources, energy and probably a village.
I’m optimistic that someone—perhaps even someone already connected to our community—will recognize what has been created here and feel called to carry this beautiful sanctuary forward.
