Brother…sorry for the delay on a wrap up on this year! After a 2-day drive (this is Scout) back to the Midwest, I was exhausted, sick, and had to immediately move and start a new job. My b!
But, this isn’t about me, it’s about Break Free. This year we went harder than we ever had and ya’ll showed up. We were able to donate $1000 EACH to Mohammed's Mission and 4 The Homies this year. The most we’ve ever been able to do in BFF history. None of that would’ve been possible without you all buying tickets, pre-ordering merch, buying buttons (making buttons), setting up, putting up flyers, vending, carpooling, playing, and just telling us how much this fest means to you.
This year our time team is getting smaller (♥️more on that later) and we’re figuring out what the future looks like, but I’m so happy this fest continues to do what it does no matter what because it fills a gap in something we’ve all felt at one time or another. Thank you to all the bands, vendors, to the 4333 team, to Brian Bodine , to Philly 🦅 to every single person who shows up from afar, and to of course my friends Darby Cox Adesola Ogunleye and Nate George Harris . I love ya’ll tremendously and thank you for keeping me together so we can all be together.
Big tingz coming soon ya’ll. Keep an eye out for that and more. See you in 2027! ⛓️💥
