Philadelphia Kite Festival Welcome to the 8th Annual Philadelphia Kite Festival. The most chill festival ever. Many thanks to the Penn Treaty SSD for their continued support.

Come celebrate the wonderful and whimsical world of kites on Saturday, 30 April 2022, from 12 - 5:00 pm at Penn Treaty Park. The Friends of Penn Treaty Park are proud to continue to steward and experience this fantastic event alongside The South Jersey Kite Flyers. They will be putting on a spectacular show with their award-winning kite flying. As years previous, The Philadelphia Kite Festival is

a FREE family and community-friendly, laid-back venture into the world of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math), into Nature and the Great Outdoors, and it is one fantastic time. From noon until 5 pm, the sky will be a sea of color, but the focus will be collaboration and community on the ground. Come experience kites of all shapes and sizes, live music and entertainment, kite designing and kite-making workshops, kite flying competitions, art and essay competitions, face painting, food and ice cream trucks, and so much more. You do not want to miss this fun for everyone in the best park in the world, Penn Treaty Park; with its beautiful views of the Delaware River, the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, and of course the open sky. The Friends of Penn Treaty Park look forward to seeing all of you at this fun, free event. Let’s go fly a kite.

Come celebrate the wonderful and whimsical world of kites on Saturday, 12 September 2020 from 12:00 - 5:00 pm at Penn Treaty Park -- 1301 N Beach St, Philadelphia, Pa 19125.

The Friends of Penn Treaty Park (http://penntreatypark.org/) are proud to continue to steward and experience this fantastic event; alongside The South Jersey Kite Flyers who will be putting on a spectacular show with their award-winning kite flying and amazing nominal fee kite workshops -- perfect for all ages and abilities. Many thanks to the Penn Treaty Special Services District, Johnny's Hots, Devilfish Ink, Councilmember Mark Squilla, and the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation for their continued support.
