FROM HARD HATS TO RUNNING SHOES

Run to Rebuild 5K Run/2 Mile Walk was founded in 2010 by two very active RTP volunteers, Jamie Frilling and Erika Rothenburger, with the guidance of long time board member Jennifer Shropshire. With their efforts, along with committee members and volunteers, the run has become the ONLY major fundraising event for the non-profit; which has raised over 25K every year since its founding. The event takes place every third Saturday in May on the very scenic Forbidden Drive of Wissahicken Valley Park in the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia. This event is ideal for seasoned runners, newbies, families, and groups. The trail is easy on the feet and easy to enjoy. Their finish line is a safe and healthy home for every person!
