About the artists:
Anterra & Peter Stone are a dream-folk duo, each songwriters themselves, who are deeply committed to the magic and alchemy of presence and music. They work to translate both the mystical and the difficult into cathartic songs of healing. Their songs are ethereal in sound, and dance between somber and hopeful in tone. Anterra’s crystalline voice draws playful melodies amongst Peter’s dulcet vocals and the lush instrumentation they weave together. Come for an evening of haunting enchantment.
STONE COLD GRACE is the pseudonym of indie folk singer/songwriter Sara Johnson. Compared to the likes of Joni Mitchell, Patti Griffin and Allegra Krieger, Johnson weaves intricate stories of love, loss and becoming into delicately crafted songs. She resides in Philadelphia and is active in the local music scene there.
Johnson’s newest single, “You In the Armchair,” (out April 25) details the events of a house party. Trapped in her own thoughts, Johnson navigates the overwhelming experience of catching up and being politely social while the object of her affection lounges on the armchair in the corner. This slow and melodic indie rock ballad paints a still life of all of the party’s attendees while simultaneously conveying everything left unsaid between her and her mysterious paramour.
Donnie CoCo is a songwriter/vocalist/guitarist residing in Philadelphia. Their music whimsically haunts, blending elements of alternative folk and rock with a soulful lining and mathy delights. Their 4 piece band brings deep groove and dreamy textures, tightly traversing intricate pathways laid by abstract lyrical themes of grief, growth, presence, and hope. Donnie CoCo is currently recording their debut album 𝑻𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝑻𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒆 at OfficeOurs on Knox in Germantown, and their set features animated visuals by Davey Levson and Dairys Escoto De León.
