“Second stay at this unique accommodation.
Both times with pre-teen granddaughters after visiting the Lincoln historical sites in Springfield. Once again, we had The Linden Room and the entire home to ourselves on a Tuesday evening. We enjoyed exploring the grounds and many public spaces, and played several hands of cards in the front parlor, prior to retiring to our spacious "double" suite…”
“….Petersburg is a perfect location to overnight if you're visiting the Lincoln attractions. Spend the day in Springfield visiting the Lincoln home, museum, and tomb, then overnight at The Three Pines, and complete your historical tour the next day at nearby New Salem, which is only minutes away.”
