Parents – gather your little ghosts, goblins, monsters, Harry Potters, witches on broomsticks and princesses, and join the participating downtown merchants for the Annual Trick or Treat Trail this Halloween! (Saturday October 31, 2026 3:00pm – 5:00pm.)

Visit the website after October 24 to download the pumpkin trail map – listing all participating locations on Kentucky St, 4th St, Western Ave, Petaluma Blvd, 2nd St, “C” St, Theater Square, and the River Plaza Shopping Center. Over 75 businesses will be handing out Halloween candy to costumed children.

Grab your broomsticks, magical hats and striped stockings, Witches and Wizards on The Water at The Floathouse Petaluma: Sonoma County Boat Rentals is Saturday, October 24th from 11am to 2pm. This annual free, family-friendly community paddle and enchanting Costume Contest features exciting prizes from local businesses. Bring your best costume to the river and join in on the spooky fun! 🎉🛶

🛍️ The Floathouse will also host a trick-or-treat water trail, so plan for a full day of Halloween festivities! You can bring your own boat or rent one from them, they have all shapes and sizes available. Witches love paddleboards, while wizards and monsters prefer rowboats. And don’t miss out on their water bikes, perfect for transporting your spider or skeleton on the front platform!
